2 Clerk of the Court
The Clerk of the Court assists, updates and informs the magistrates. S/he prepares all the case papers for them and makes sure the magistrates are fully prepared for court. The Clerk conducts the swearing in or affirmation of oath. The Clerk usually sits in front of the bench and wears appropriate business clothing.
