Trevor Gilbert is a multi award-winning practising expert witness, an employment analyst and career profiler who has specialised in the preparation of loss of earnings reports for the purposes of civil litigation for 33 years. He has given evidence in the largest personal injury claim in British legal history and his expertise is regularly sought in extremely complex, big ticket claims.

Trevor was both thrilled and humbled to be voted as one of the Top 100 Influential People in the UK in 2023 by an internationally recognised, independent and distinguished panel chaired by Lord Rami Ranger CBE.

His expert practice is an unprecedented six times winner of the prestigious national Eclipse Proclaim Personal Injury Awards (2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018) as well as the 2019 Modern Law Awards, and voted Expert Witness of the Year and Best Employment Expert practice UK in the Lawyer International Legal 100 awards, 2020 and 2021`.

Stephen Harvey of 3 Paper Buildings is listed by Chambers UK as a Leading Criminal Silk.

He is extremely experienced in the cross-examination of experts in a number of disciplines and has lectured to professional witnesses on the subject of ‘The Expert Witness’. Stephen has appeared before a variety of regulatory and disciplinary tribunals (particularly Police Disciplinary Tribunals and The Law Society) as well as representing those same clients who also find themselves before the criminal courts.

Stephen has appeared in terrorist-related cases, allegations of serious and organised crime, homicides, firearms and explosive cases, serious (often historical) sexual allegations and cases involving allegations of corruption and fraud (white and blue collar). He successfully represented the last female army captain charged with spying: R v Maychell (1999).

He has co-written articles on the Bribery Act 2010 and its implications particularly for foreign entities in the infrastructure and construction industries.
